Experiencing same problem at my end with nrf51 dk.

@stevechen: Did you find a solution to this?

Can anyone confirm that download and debugging with Keil on nrf51-dk and win8.1 machine works fine?

I have this same problem. I cannot see the SN in the "Cortex Jlink/JTrace Target Driver Setup" window. nRF Go studio can see the Segger device though. (I'm not sure if it's related, but uVision complains about missing software packs which actually are installed in 'Pack Installer'. The project builds without error.)

That is correct. Can you see J-Link/J-Trace Adapter SN in "Cortex Jlink/JTrace Target Driver Setup" window?

That should be correct, you also need to click Settings and select the correct J-Link /J-Trace Adapter.
