 I haven&amp;#39;t been able to actually find out if the VBUS can be used to drive the DETECT signal to go from system off to on mode.

&lt;p&gt;The USB peripheral is shut down in System OFF mode, so the only USB-related wake-up source will be VBUS detected, meaning that VBUS rises past the detect voltage. &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.nordic.infocenter.sdk5.v15.3.0%2Fusbd_example.html"&gt;The USBD example&lt;/a&gt; implements power detection on the USB.&lt;/p&gt;
