&lt;p&gt;The theoretical maximum datarate for Gazell (2 Mbit) is:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;(1000 / timeslot * 2) * 32*8 bit = 213 kBit/s.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Which is not a lot in an audio context. However, I guess it boils down to what kind of audio quality you would like to transmit.&lt;/p&gt;
