I've talked to your FAE and gotten more details about what you asked about.

I've made an application that should be suitable now, for next time, please include this details in the DevZone tickets as DevZone is preferred communication channel for support.

Transmitter: devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../transmitter_5F00_with_5F00_button_5F00_8dbm.hex

Press button 1 to start transmitting, press button 2 to stop transmitting. While transmitting LED 1 will be on.

The receiver is the same as last time: devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../receiver_5F00_dk.hex

LED 4 will switch state when a packet is received.

Best regards,

can you check the transmitter file please. The receiver file is programmed.

For a simple range test, use this firmware as transmitter: devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../transmitter.hex

The UART interface for the transmitter uses 8N1, baudrate 115200

Commands you need:

Transmit frame:
transmit on 4198030405060708090a0b0c0d0e0f

Set TX power:
tx_power 8

Select channel:
channel 19

For receiver, flash this file:

devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../receiver_5F00_dk.hex

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Testing:

First, set channel to 19 since the receiver is hardcoded to channel 19.

Second, set the tx power to your desired level with tx_power.

Send frames by pasting transmit on 4198030405060708090a0b0c0d0e0f

You will see that LED4 on the DK will toggle when it receives a packet

I captured the packets in Wireshark to make sure that it works:

Best regards,

Andreas
