Maybe the path to the files are too long? Windows has a limitation on something like 256 chars in paths.

Try to unzip the SDK closer to the C drive. Create a folder called Nordic_semiconductor in the C: drive and unzip so that the SDK has the path:

C:\Nordic_Semiconductor\SDK15.3.0

And then try to compile it. If that doesn't work, what IDE do you use, and what SDK version do you use? Is it Segger Embedded Studio and SDK15.3.0?

No, I have downloaded the SDK and unzip the SDK and i tried to run the example project ble_app_uart by using open project and tried to compile the program

That depends on your compiler. Did you try to copy the project file to another folder in the SDK? Or outside the SDK?

Why i am getting this type of error?

so, i tried the include the path in option for target tab and selected c/c++ option in this i have included the

nordic_common.h path and again i am getting

Agree, but if you only had iOS, which hides the address, you can also use nrfjprog.
But if you have an Android phone or an extra DK that you can use together with nRF Connect for Desktop, that is definitely easier.

You can install Nordic Command Line Tools and use the command:

nrfjprog --memrd 0x100000A4 --n 8

Although a little mixed up, some of those numbers is your adress. The first 4 bytes are the last digits in your address, and the two first bytes in the second chunk is the start of your address.

Please note (marked in yellow) that 0x96 is changed to 0xD6. The reason for this is that the first to bits in this byte has to be 11 in a BLE address.

EDIT:

Note that this address is not present in the application, so you will not be able to find it if you search for it. It is a randomly generated number preprogrammed into each nRF.

It's the Central that needs to get the Address.

The Central is the TI part - so you're going to have to ask TI how to do that on their part!

Ok. Based on the information in this ticket so far, you have another BLE device acting as a central which you want to connect to the nRF51, and you want to use this link to send some sensor data.

The peripheral is the device that is advertising, and the central is the device that is scanning for and connecting to a peripheral. So you need to make the nRF advertise (most examples in our SDK does this. Look at the examples in SDK\examples\ble_peripheral. E.g. the ble_app_uart example.

Then you need to make your central connect to this device, based on some filter in the central. Either address or some part of the advertising message (Advertising name, advertised service uuids, etc.).

I am not familiar with TI's SDK solution, so you would need to ask them.

In addition, if you want to transfer sensor data from the nRF to the central, you need to use a BLE Service and characteristic for this.

I have attached below the link of cc2564 moda datasheet.Yes that is TI 's bluetooth but controller we are using is Tiva's controller.Yes tiva controller is acting as a central(master) which also it should connect to tablet(slave) and one more slave device(nrf51 ). so now i need to know how to connect from nrf51 to tiva controller.

It would be helpful to give a link.

That sounds like a TI device ?

You didn't answer Edvin's question - is this device running as a Central?

If so, then your device will have to be a Peripheral

Again, do you understand the roles of Central and Peripheral in BLE ?

If not, then you need to do some reading-up on the basics of BLE

yes, the bluetooth is Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device. we are using CC2564MODA Bluetooth low energy device. I can able to program this device.Here in this bluetooth device we are connecting to other device based on Bluetooth address means we are writing the bluetooth address in program in order to connect with device.Here based on the bluetooth address we can connect to any other different application device.when we are connecting to tablet we are using pairing and when we are connecting to other controller bluetooth board we are connecting through the bluetooth address.

Sure, the whole point of standards like Bluetooth is that any device which complies can communicate with any other device which also complies with the same standard.

But, as Edvin says, we would need far more details to be able to make any specific comments about this particular case.

Have you studied the documentation for this "Tivas" and/or contacted the manufacturer/supplier for support on its capabilities?
