&lt;p&gt;I add a &amp;#39;softdevice erase flash&amp;#39; algo in a separate target with &amp;#39;erase full chip&amp;#39; option, no program. And left only &amp;#39;nrf52_xx&amp;#39; flash algo in default target with program option and no erase.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;First, you erase full chip with first target, than you program it with second. Thats all.&lt;/p&gt;

I read this one a bit too quick and missed the part about the ST-LINK. As &lt;a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/members/awneil"&gt;awneil&lt;/a&gt; has already suggested, I would recommend using a debugger that is supported by us. I think the source of your issue is that a proper erase isn&amp;#39;t performed before you try to reprogram the device.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Use this &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/ug_nrf5x_cltools/UG/cltools/nrf5x_nrfjprogexe_reference.html?cp=6_1_3_0"&gt;nrfjprog command&lt;/a&gt; before you try to program it:&lt;/p&gt;
