&lt;p&gt;The DK is the little blue board - it&amp;#39;s external to Windows, Linux, and VMs!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Segger have native support for J-Link on Linux - have you tried that?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;That would narrow it down a bit ...&lt;/p&gt;
