In my application, the nRF52840 and different sensors will be integrated in a small board powered by a battery. It's why I have to know current consumption and consumption peak.

Hello,

The following image shows current consumption during an NFC transaction, going from idle to active and to idle again.

From the image, you can see that average consumption during about 1 second is 3,4mA. This is where an NFC antenna is in range of the field.

Note that the NFC software is not power optimized. Please see this answer.
