&lt;p&gt;Do your boards have an external 32k? The default is to choose that in the bt samples.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Try setting CONFIG_CLOCK_CONTROL_NRF_K32SRC_RC and see if this has an impact on the issue.&lt;/p&gt;
