I'm still getting the same issue, i.e three leds lit up. However, I know it got response back form master emulator, firware version was identified and server has started. I started the discovery and saw a couple of bluetooth devices. I wanted to connect to my ios device but it couldn't find it.

I got what the mcp is doing and what it's used for now. Sorry about not be able to ask the question clearly. However, the led indicator show three leds lit up after I flashed programmed it in mcp. I expected it to follow the softdevice s110 indication but it seemed not.

Could you provide some more information on the devices you are using. Do you have two pca10028s, one for the HRM application and one for Master Control Panel MEFW?

Thanks for the reply. I was able to connect my device to mcp. However, when my device is flash programmed to this firmware the HRM application didn't work or stopped advertising. I followed the steps here. but I got back this result. I have p0.30 connected to ground this time. . Please help.

On the pca10028 board you need to connect pin P0.30 to ground in order for the master emulator firmware to run correctly. See the MCP help file for instructions.
