Hi RO,

Could you type “pip --version” in the terminal to verify that the pip installed with python v2.7 is used?

Also, go through nRF Sniffer User Guide v2.2 to check the setting is correct.

Installed v2.4.6
Again, it does not detect the nRF board when I plug in.

All I did was change the Wireshark version, din't touch any other folder structure. The required files in the extcap and profile folders seem to be present.

What is the issue??

I updated to v3.0.6
Now wireshark cannot detect the nRF board when I plug it in.

In our Sniffer user guide, we list Wireshark v2.4.6 or later is supported. Could you update the Wireshark version aligned with our user guide?

You also should check if you have BT LE LL in the list of protocols.

I'm using the nrf_sniffer_for_bluetooth_le_2.0.0_c87e17d

I tried the template application, same issue, can't see protocol information.

Did you use nrfsnifferforbluetoothle200c87e17d or nrfsniffer200beta312oct20181c2a221?

Could you try another version of sniffer or Template Application to see there is the same issue or not?

I enabled all protocols, still no change in sniffer log.

I do not know the reason, but you can try to enable all the protocols and capture again.

Could you upload the sniffer log after that? Thanks.
