I'm trying out the "Android nRF beacon for Eddystone" app (installed from PlayStore) with the Eddystone Beacon Application example on a PCA10040.
First off, I have a "bit of a weird" smartphone setup (Samsung Galaxy S3, LineageOS 14.1, opengapps

RE: Android nRF beacon for Eddystone app from Google Play Store doesn't display registered beacons

Hello. Unfortunately, clearing the cache didn't make the beacon appear in the list. I'll try buildung the app myself next, and also see if I can try out the app with a phone manufacturer-provided Android ROM.

RE: Android nRF beacon for Eddystone app from Google Play Store doesn't display registered beacons

Hi Could you try clearing the cache of the app and see if this works?
thanks for the reply. So I am able to view the beacon I registered with "Android nRF beacon for Eddystone" with Googles beacon tools (com.google.android.apps.location.beacon.beacontools). The beacon shows up under "beacons near me / registered", so the registration was successful.

Just to clarify: So it's not possible to view registered beacons with the app installed from Googles Play Store?

You can also log in to google beacon dashboard to see if any of your registered beacons are available to confirm. The app should be built by yourself and also the relevant keys.
