If you&#39;re just starting out I suggest getting a Development Kit for easy access to debugging, etc. I&#39;m not sure what mbed environment you prefer, but <a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/21462/use-c-for-nrf51-in-keil">here&#39;s a link</a> showing how to use C++ in Keil µvision.
