I need to develop a bluetooth slave port for an existing controller. The controller will communicate with the nRF52832 via the UART. For prototyping I purchased a Fanstel BT832F module (which uses the nRF52832 processor).
However, if you put the filename - "nRF52_DK_User_Guide_v1.3.1.pdf" - into google, it will find you a copy:

It seems that the link in the Infocentre is using plain HTTP:

http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/pdf/nRF52_DK_User_Guide_v1.3.1.pdf

but it needs to be HTTPS

RE: Development Setup

Works for me:

If you go to the nRF52-DK page:

https://www.nordicsemi.com/Software-and-Tools/Development-Kits/nRF52-DK

Then click on 'Documentation':

that should also get you to the right place.

I ordered an nRF52 DK board (from Digikey). It came without support documentation. I contacted Digikey and they cannot help me either. Does a user guide exist? If so, please provide a path to it.
The best approach to get started would be to get a Nordic nRF52 DK

That way you know that you have everything you need, properly configured & connected, well-known by people here for easy support, and with ready-to-go examples.

https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/52269/my-first-test-with-nrf52840-on-ms04sf7_v1-0-from-minew-dongle/211367#211367

Get familiar with the product & tools on the DK - then you will be in a position to move on to the 3rd-party module.
Segger J-link EDU
You can't use Monitor Mode Debug on that.

Monitor Mode Debug is invaluable when working with the SoftDevice (Nordic's BLE protocol stack):

https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/48647/ble-debugging-on-nrf52/193088#193088

The built-in J-Link on the DK gives you an evaluation licence for MMD
