Using the Thingy app on my iPhone works fine.
However, I would like using my iPhone as a gateway (thingy:52 -> iPhone (BLE -> Internet) -> nrFCloud. I installed the nRF Cloud Gateway app. I registered my iPhone as a BLE gateway, however when trying

RE: Thingy:52 -> cloud gateway problem

Hi Edvin,

I succeeded: my fault :) I first need to connect to the Thingy (nRFConnect) followed by using nRFCloudGateway and adding the thingy.

Thanks.

Yes nRF Connect on my iPhone (is also the iPhone of the gateway) can connect (LED flashes green on the Thingy).

Best regards,

Are you sure your Thingy is advertising? Are you able to see it from nRF Connect for Mobile (preferably another mobile), or nRF Connect for Desktop? The reason it is best to use a different mobile is that the Thingy may be bonded (but I am not sure). See if you can see the advertisements for the Thingy in nRF Connect either way.

Best regards,
