It looks like you are on a old version of ncs.

Could you try this on ncs tag "v1.1.0"?

whenever i add CONFIG_AT_CMD_RESPONSE_MAX_LEN to the prj.conf I get error from Zephyr version: 1.14.99

waring: attemp to assign the value to the undefined symbol AT_CMD_RESPONSE_MAX_LEN.

does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Yes, I was able to compile the asset tracker with support for long AT commands with the help from the comments in the cloud certficate update guide. Adding the variable CONFIG_AT_CMD_RESPONSE_MAX_LEN to the prj.conf file did the trick. Than you.

Did you manage to compile the asset tracker with support for long AT commands with the help from the comments in the cloud certficate update guide?

Getting started compiling nRF Connect SDK: https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/getting_started.html
Then the asset tracker code is found under ncs/nrf/applications/asset_tracker

For nRF9160-DK

Add CONFIG_AT_CMD_RESPONSE_MAX_LEN=3072 to prj.conf

Compile the application for nRF9160-DK using: west build -b nrf9160_pca10090ns

For Thingy:91

Add CONFIG_AT_CMD_RESPONSE_MAX_LEN=3072 to prj_nrf9160_pca20035ns.conf

Compile the application for Thingy:91 using: west build -b nrf9160_pca20035ns
