&lt;p&gt;The nRF51 series is stated to have a minimum flash memory endurance of 20 000 write/erase cycles in the absolute maximum ratings of the &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/pdf/nRF51822_PS_v3.3.pdf?cp=4_4_0_0"&gt;product specification&lt;/a&gt;. So the chip should be able to take at least 20 000 writes to flash before kicking the bucket. This will equate to ~7 years of 6-7 flash writes a day.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;There&amp;#39;s not a limit to how many times you can hard reset the nRF5 series chips.&lt;/p&gt;
