How we can publish a message from server to the client? for send message more than one bit i am using generic level light dimming model.

Hi,

Unfortunately, like you said we don't have any examples that uses the sensor model. We do have plans to implement this sometime down the road. You can contact your RSM to know more about the timelines.

You can find the sensor model in the Mesh Model Specification, add this to the mesh, modify some parameters of the model, or you can create your own sensor model.

You can also do like Bjørn mentions here in this thread.

I found i can't use Light switch model and trying to use sensor client model to send an array of data There is no example using that model please share an example for client server and provisioner using sensor model

Is it the same function that returns mesh error 7 as earlier?

Could you elaborate this? Not sure what you mean by Light switch model. Have you done any modifications before sending a integer?

The ACCESS_RELIABLE_TRANSFER_CANCELLED event probably comes from the function access_model_reliable_cancel() before you call access_model_reliable_publish().

Hi,

For Light switch model when i send a integer instead of bool i am getting ACCESS_RELIABLE_TRANSFER_CANCELLED error Even i used function (generic_onoff_client_set_unack ) to send same integer and i am getting Client 0 cannot send error

We have modified the code for client and server but we are getting error

mesh error 7(invalid parameters)

We don't have opcodes for message model

We need to use mobile device as a provisioner we dont need static Provisioner so in mobile application there is no model for sending message

Based on simple message model from v 1.0.0 it is not working with SDK 3.2.0

We are getting error invalid parameters.

It should be the same as for the other two. Maybe have look at the client example in Mesh SDK v1.0.1. In SDK v1.x we have 4 elements on the lightswitch client node. One element is provisioner and the others are light switch client elements.

I want to relay the message as well i don't have opcodes how to get access to it.

The post I referred to earlier, included a custom simple_message model example that will let you send a string over the mesh network. It is made for Mesh SDK v1.0.0 but I suggest you to use the example application as a reference/guidance on how you can make a custom model for Mesh SDK 3.2.0, that let you send a string.

Note: To send a string you need to make a custom model, you can't send a string using the "switch" model(assuming by "switch", you mean Generic OnOff model)

Yes i am using Switch model which does not allow me to send a string, so please provide me with a model example so that i can send a string using that model.

NRF_ERROR_INVALID_PARAM means either model not bound to application key, publish address not set or wrong opcode format. Can you check this?

i am getting the error status "NRF_ERROR_INVALID_PARAM:" the present model does not allow me to send a string I changed the model to simple message as attached in previous thread what u have shared.

That for Mesh SDK 1.0.0 i am using Mesh SDK 3.2.0 and i and followed the steps i am not able to see any message from Server it would be great help if u can share the project file.
