The nRF52 has a regular SWD interface that the on-board J-Link debugger uses to interface with, you can use any debugger/programmer that supports the nRF52840 to debug/program it.

I suggest you take a look at the BLE Blinky Application together with nRF Connect for Mobile, a reference BLE application for Android and iOS.

Well Bluetooth LE is much better suited for control applications than Bluetooth EDR, both are present in the Bluetooth 5.0 specification. We only support BLE as BEDR is not nearly as energy-efficient, and BLE can cover most, if not all, uses-cases that BEDR has.

I will have a question, by reading the documentations, the code of the programs of example, can not we use only the chip nrf52 and the programming it directly or must one go through a microprocessor of type PCA10056 boarded on the card of trial ?

OK thanks, for starters, I connect the nrf52840 card with my S8 smartphone under android.
When you say "one side of the link thinks you are already associated" with the 2 links, that would be more on the side nrf52840 I suppose? it would be necessary to add in the program of example to erase the data of pairing when it is dissociated ... is that it?

You are correct, but one side of the link believes that it is already paired, therefore it rejects another pairing attempt, or, attempt to pair with previous data, to which the peer device will reject the pairing attempt.

In your application that's running on the nRF52840, after you've initialized the peer manager library.

How do you call pm_peer_data_delete? in the app or program in question?

Most likely you're storing the pairing data(bonding) in the nRF52840. After you've bonded the two devices and delete the pairing data on one of the devices they won't be able to pair again as one of the devices believes it is already paired.

By re-programming the nRF52 you're deleting the pairing data.

You can call pm_peers_delete to delete all pairing information for all devices that have been saved by the Peer Manager, or you can use pm_peer_data_delete to delete the data for a specific device.
