 This does not reproduce every time, just randomly. Any suggestion about what could be wrong ? Smells like bug in library.

&lt;p&gt;Where I get the folllowing error: &lt;strong&gt;TypeError: &amp;#39;NoneType&amp;#39; object is not subscriptable.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m using python version 3.8.10 and pc-ble-driver-py 0.16.3.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Do you have any idee why this issue occurs and how can i fix it ?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;While the pc-ble-driver-py README.md lists Python &amp;gt;= 3.7 under &amp;quot;Dependencies&amp;quot;, under the Windows specific install steps it lists Python 3.7.3. Just to be sure, are you using Python 3.7.3 or later?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Looks like the value of response["status"] is None. I will report this to the developers. It looks like something that should have been handled by the pc-ble-driver-py library, yes.&lt;/p&gt;
