I have a ptr5518 module which has nRF51822 in it. I need help programming the device. I am new here so a detailed help will be very useful.

Register an account and register your product key.  Then it would allows you to download the bluetooth stack and sdks.  There are many examples in the sdk you can look at.  You will need a jtag tool to flash the firmware and debug.  The segger jlink is the one supported by nordic.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The SDK uses Keil as development platform.
