If you are toggling GPIOs near the P0.00, there could be cross-talk that drives that input, especially if there is no pull-resistor on P0.00. Try enabling a pull-down or pull-up resistor on P0.00 and see if that works better.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Is P0.00 controlled by the PWM peripheral? If yes, then this will override any local GPIO settings when active.&lt;/p&gt;
