Have you set up your kit as instructed in nRF51822 Development kit User Guide v1.4, section 4.2?

In your screenshot from nRFgo Studio, it looks like there is no nRF51 module connected to the motherboard. What nRFgo Studio version do you have? You should use the latest version of nRFgo studio.

On your nRF51 module (either PCA 10004 or PCA 10005), make sure the jumper is connected on pins 2 and 3 on header K1.

Update 5.2.2015

Looking at your nRFgo Studio screenshot again, I realize that you can not connect to the nRF6310 motherboard itself.

Have you tried to connect the motherboard to another USB port on your PC? Do you see any number set on the motherboard display? Do you see the motherboard appear in the device manager on your PC?

If you still can not detect your motherboard, try to install an older nRFgo Studio version, to see if that helps, v1.16 or v1.10.
