&lt;p&gt;The JLink installation path is hardcoded to /opt/SEGGER/JLink, which means that root access is needed.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;However, you might be able to work around that by registering the .so in ldconfig.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Can you try to install it, and see if it solves your problems?&lt;/p&gt;
