You are right, SDK v1.0.1 doesn't have any qualification done.

I wouldn't say implementing mesh on nRF51 is impossible but the qualification and the limitation of the chip make it not worth it to continue development on nRF51.

Thanks you. I tried searching a such project or guideline and they didnt work anymore. So.. as you said SDK v1.0.1 is only for testing? Mesh should not be developed on nRF51 because of qualification?

Hi Minh,

We stopped supporting nRF51 from Mesh SDK v2.0. It's not suggested to continue developing using NRF51 for new mesh design. The biggest problem is that we haven't qualified any nRF51 mesh stack with Bluetooth SIG. So if you continue with NRF51 you would need to do qualification and testing on your own.
With the cost optimized nRF52810 chip, the price difference is not much compare to nRF51. I would suggest you to continue with nRF52.

If you want just to test the nRF51, you can try SDK v1.0.1
