Where are you getting the values from? The debug log you sent me earlier is instructing you to set RAM start to 0x20002AA8 and size to 0xD558.

I try it with old value and the new value of RAM_START and RAM_SIZE, it doesn't work. The value as follow:

***new value

RAM_START=0x20002a88
RAM_SIZE=0x3d558

***old value

RAM_START=0x20002a98
RAM_SIZE=0xd568

I guess it would have been more accurate to ask if RAM_START+RAM_SIZE == RAM_PH_START +RAM_PH_SIZE. Anyway, the problem is that you haven't typed in RAM_START correctly.

You need to change RAM START and SIZE as stated in the log. That is, RAM_START=0x20002AA8 and RAM_SIZE=0xD558

Hello Aymen,

NRF_SDH_BLE_VS_UUID_COUNT must be set to '2' for this to work. And you will probably have to increase the RAM base after that. See debug log for new RAM settings.

I only see one screenshot that shows main.c, but that one starts at line ~750.

When i Change NRF_SDH_BLE_VS_UUID_COUNT to '2', it went back to ble_stack_init(). Check out the photo, it is about the code at line 336 in main.c.

You said it went back to ble_stack_init() which is why I thought it was the RAM settings. Can you post a snippet of the code you have around line 336 in main.c? And to confirm again, NRF_SDH_BLE_VS_UUID_COUNT is still defined as '2' in your sdk_config header?

What is the error shown in the log? It should state the new RAM requirements if RAM_START is too low for the current configuration.

How can increase the RAM of UUID buffer. The values of the actual RAM as follows:

The Softdevice will reguire more RAM for its UUID buffer when you increase NRF_SDH_BLE_VS_UUID_COUNT. See debug log for current RAM requirements.

Not sure if it was mentioned in the blog post, but NRF_SDH_BLE_VS_UUID_COUNT in sdk_config.h must be bumped to '2' since you're adding the DFU service. Have you done that?

So you're getting past ble_stack_init() now, that is good. But don't you get a new crashlog now when the program reaches the breakpoint (NRF_BREAKPOINT_COND)?
