Lately, we have experienced that people have fallen into the trap of installing the Nordic Edition of SES and started with NCS when developing with nRF52 devices (NCS only supports nRF91 at the moment), instead of downloading the original version of SES and the nRF5 SDK.</p> <p>What approach did you take? Did you follow the Getting Started assistant in the nRF Connect App, or did you download the <a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/Software-and-Tools/Software/nRF5-SDK/Download">nRF5 SDK</a>?</p> <p></p> <p>However, I would recommend you to <a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/Software-and-Tools/Software/nRF5-SDK/Download">download SDK 16.0.0</a>, and follow the steps in the <a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp?topic=%2Fsdk_nrf5_v16.0.0%2Fnrf51_getting_started.html&amp;cp=5_1_1">Getting Started section</a> in the Infocenter.</p> <p>Also, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZouRE_Ol8g&amp;list=PLx_tBuQ_KSqGHmzdEL2GWEOeix-S5rgTV">here</a> is a quite nice video tutorial that demonstrates how to get started with SES and the nRF5 SDK.</p> <p>Best regards,</p> <p>Simon</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
