Strange Msg. from nrfcloud

Hello Forum,
I got a Thingy:91 today and of course I wanted to test it immediatelly), but I wonder:
Is the nrfcloud.message simply because of no LTE-NB1 network / roaming or did I get incompatible Hardware? The rfcloud shows me a "certificate update

RE: Thingy:91 functional in Germany (Karlsruhe) ?
yes, finally I checkd it via LTE-Monitor and it seems the iBasis SIM can not see any NB1/M1 net here, but Telekom-SIMs work (at least with a modem from an other manufacturer).

Maybe the message with the certificate is a little bit missleading and the blinking signals of the Thingy:91 need a little bit more explanation. In any case: the nrf9160 is really a very smart and promissing solution.

Best regards, Jo

RE: Thingy:91 functional in Germany (Karlsruhe) ?

I checked with the production data, and your device should have certificates preloaded.

have you powered on your thingy:91 device, and has it been able to contact the cloud prior to adding it on nrfcloud.com?

With the newer certificates scheme in nrfcloud.com, the certificates are not associated until a device tries to use them. So in order for you to add your specific thingy:91 to the cloud, it has to have tried to connect prior to this.

Kind regards,

Håkon
