I want test dfu example.
so I was compile & download secure_bootloader example(nRF5_SDK_15.3.0_59ac345\examples\dfu\secure_bootloader).
I just compiled and downloaded, and the following warning popped up. Why is that?
I'm using IAR compiler

RE: nrf52 dfu example

The issue is that the IAR erases too big blocks when you program the bootloader via the IDE (IAR). You can compile the bootloader in IAR, but you should upload the file using e.g. nrfjprog or nRF Programmer (an addon in nRF Connect for Desktop).

RE: nrf52 dfu example

I should have merged the firmware and downloaded it, which I downloaded to iar compiler!

RE: nrf52 dfu example

Hello,

Please look at this thread:

https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/28072/iar-warning-stack-pointer-is-setup-to-incorrect-alignment-stack-addr-0xffffffff

IAR is doing something wrong, which only affects the SDKs from 15.3.0 and later. Try to see the fixes in the bottom of that link.

Best regards,
