Ok. Did you test the microphone using e.g. Audio Recorder or arecord in Ubuntu, or with the method I linked to?

Hello,

You are correct, GVoice seems to be removed from the Google Chrome Web Store. I have contacted our Smart Remote team regarding the issue. The Smart Remote should show as a regular microphone on your computer, and any sound recording software should be able to record from it. Are you running Windows or Ubuntu?

You could test this method, for sound.
