Yes, that is correct. You can do a AT+CFUN=0 to store that

You should consider updating to the latest modem fw v1.0.1 (latest as of writing this response).

Hi Håkon,

I have the following version: mfw_nrf9160_1.0.0-24.rc

However, I tried the following command:

AT%XBANDLOCK=2,”1”

And now when I write, AT%XCBAND=? I get the following response:

%XCBAND: (1,2,3,4,5,8,12,13,14,17,18,19,20,25,26,28,66)

I assume that I should be able to connect to a network that supports band 1 now?

Do you have an older modem on your thingy:91? You can check this with this AT cmd:

AT+CGMR
mfw_nrf9160_1.0.1
OK

This version of the modem should give this back when querying XCBAND:

AT%XCBAND=?
%XCBAND: (1,2,3,4,5,8,12,13,14,17,18,19,20,25,26,28,66)
