When I checked out master, the change to git-spindle was done.

Now I am back to the nrf portion.
How do I handle this?

RE: $ pip3 install -r zephyr/scripts/requirements.txt

After numerous trials, I believe the problem is that I checked out v1.0.0 instead of master.

Then, there are errors during the execution of $ pip3 install -r nrf/scripts/requirements.txt
at building pygit2 and onwards.

Maybe the problem is related to my C compiler installation?
I installed Microsoft community edition on this new Windows laptop.

In that case, what is the recommended tool?

Is there an alternative?

RE: $ pip3 install -r zephyr/scripts/requirements.txt

Hi.

You can find hub v2.0 with a time machine.

Joking aside, what has happened is the following:

The hub package that Zephyr depends on has changed names to git-spindle, and another package has taken the Hub name.

So, to solve your problem, change the name of the Hub package to git-spindle in the requirements file.

Best regards,

Didrik
