Thanks for the clarification.

Then, can you throw some light on, how ble and thread are supported together.

Radio has to be time shared between ble and thread protocol. Now if I configure a Thread device to be FTD, it's radio has be in receiving mode 100% of the time.

Hi,
Bluetooth mesh and Thread are two different radio protocols. The radio is the hardware that transmits the messages using different protocols. Since both protocols are using the same radio, you won't be able to run them simultaneously because of the reason metioned in the previous reply.

I believe we have different radios for bluetooth and thread. Then, why can't we have ble mesh and thread together ?

Hi,

Unfortunately, we don't support running Bluetooth mesh and Thread simultaneously. Both are in need of the radio almost 100%, so it wouldn't work to run them together.
