Rollback?

Hi all,
These steps broke my j-link lite! Is there a way to un-break it? Suggestions welcome.
I updated the segger pc software for another non nRF51 project (using a real segger).
I opened an nRF51 project and the new sw told me to update the j

RE: J-link lite broke by update! Turns out the that the firmware image was corrupted for unknown reasons.
Run jlink.exe and type 'exec invalidatefw' from the command line then allow it to reflash the device. This allows you to re-flash again next time you use the jlink dll and fix the corruption.

RE: J-link lite broke by update! Segger support should able to get you back on track.

RE: J-link lite broke by update! This was a real one from digikey with the serial sticker on and it came sealed in tamper proof packaging. I guess I need to talk to segger then directly.
This has put me off ever buying a j-link though. Deliberately breaking a device without even a pop-up window to say what they have done or why they did it is ridiculous. What a waste of precious time.... All they need to do is put a message box up to say they have disabled a 'suspected counterfeit' and provide a support contact for those who think a mistake has been made. That way they could actually find out where the fakes were coming from and avoid confusion for those who have been un-knowingly scammed. They need to sack whoever decided this was acceptable!

RE: J-link lite broke by update! I bought 2 of those on eBay. It was cheap. They provided with old real segger software. I though it was real jlink. It was advertised as jlink. As soon you update to 4.7 or above. Segger will detect it a fake and place a blinky firmware in place. That is why you see that red blinky led.
