Hi,

You would probably have to merge the radio test example and one of the USB examples, or your USB code. This will probably take some work, so I would just use UART instead. Hook P0.06 and P0.08 on your board up to P0.06 and P0.08 on the NRF52840 DK, and cut the solderbridges such that the nRF52 on the DK is not powered. You can then run the precompiled example on your DUT, and use the DK as UART bridge.

Hi,

Custom board will be powered with external 5v power supply.

native USB means, nRF USB (J3 on nrf52840-DK board). we have similar design in custom board. we wanted to use it for CLI.

our doubt is;

How can I build the radio test project which enables accessing CLI through nRF USB.

When you say 'native USB supply', have you only powered VBUS? Or does the rest of the board have power as well?

I am working on custom board with native USB support only.

when I flashed radio test binary using Jlink, I didn't get any CLI terminal.

How can I build the radio test project with native USB support?

Note: I have tested radio test binary in nrf52840-DK boards, working as expected.

Any input on this would be great help.

Have you determined if the cause is your FW or HW, e.g. is your board able to run the radio test example and transmit a continuous TX carrier?
