I found out the problem is with the clock source. Using the guideline from this link, the external module was able to advertise, and I can provision it.

Can you try provision with our static provisioner found in our SDK? Do you see the same issue there?

Also which Mesh SDK version are you using?

I tried with another phone. Same thing. Initially I powered the external module via DK VDD and GND. With that, I was able to see the module advertise but couldn't provision. But when I power the module with an external power supply, it didn't advertise at all. I am using EBYTE nRF52832 module.

Hi,

No, you shouldn't need to change the code I think. Can you try using another phone as well? Also try turning the bluetooth on your phone off and on again, does it make any difference?

Which module are you using?

...Yes. I used Android phone for the provisioning.
The provisioning works perfectly with the nRF52 DK but not with the external board.
I didn't change anything on the evaluation code .Do I have to adapt code?

So after you pressed on the node, you got "connecting" then the screenshot above? Can you try using another phone? Have you tried both iOS and Android?

I did not see any log besides the image I attached above. It did show "connecting" for about 30 seconds and afterwards I got the screenshot above. Do you except any other log? If so, please guide me on how to check that.

Can you check the logs when you try to provision the external module and see what it outputs?
