&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m guessing this is because you&amp;#39;re trying to overwrite code that&amp;#39;s already on the chip, which is what causes these issues. In any case, I don&amp;#39;t recommend using nRFGo Studio, as it is very old and no longer regularly updated. Instead, I&amp;#39;d recommend that you use the &lt;a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/Software-and-Tools/Development-Tools/nRF-Connect-for-desktop"&gt;nRFConnect for Desktop Programmer app&lt;/a&gt;, which supports our newest devices and is updated on a regular basis. You should also make it a rule of thumb to erase the chip before writing new firmware onto it in order to avoid these kinds of errors.&lt;/p&gt;
