Hi, yes, you are correct. On Thingy:91 this is necessary when using an active antenna.

If using an active antenna, you also need a RF Bias Tee between the SWF adapter cable and the GPS antenna, correct?

Hi, where specifically are you measuring 0.0V?

Have you tried without the external antenna?

The modem doesn't "activate" an antenna. If the modem isn't registering an external antenna there's a hardware issue or a connection issue.

Hi,

I measured GPS antenna connector and Thingy:91 is 0.0v and the DK board is 3.2v so I believe the modem is not activating the external antenna.

Hi!

The modem should use the external antenna automatically if it has been connected properly. What application are you running in the device? Which NCS tag are you on?
