Hi, I've tested on PCA10000 v1.0, v2.0 and v2.1 with Nexus 4 with Android 4.4.4 and 5.0.1 and each time I managed to connect and got 2 services: Generic Access and an empty Generic Attribute. On each board the application was advertising with empty manufacturer data with company id 0x5599. During the connection the board was still advertising as a non-connectible device with the same data.

I've altered my previous comment. It was the LG F60. Also at the beginning of my testing I had some problems with Samsung S3 (4.3), it didn't send any Connect Request. After several minutes of struggling it suddenly started to work and now it connects 100% of times.

I think it was that one. I was just given a HEX file, didn't compile it myself. It advertises only with manufacturer data 0x5599. I've also tested it using LG F60 (4.4.4) and also connection was successful. Maybe you just need to restart the phone or remove the bond information if you have paired a device that was previously flashed on the same board? EDIT: I forgot to specify on which LG model I tested it.

Hi, I've just tested the S130_09 app on Nexus 4 (Android 5.0.1) and nRF MCP 2.1.1. It has connected and showed 2 services: Generic Access and Generic Attribute. I've also checked it with Nexus 9 (Android 5.0.1) and Samsung S3 (Android 4.3) and all of them have behaved the same. During the connection the device was advertising as non-connectible device. What version of Android do you have on your Nexus 4? EDIT: I've tried on Nexus 4 with Android 4.4.4 and it worked as well without any problems. Unless the app should do something else.

I've attached my project to question. Problem is not related to LG G2 only but appears with other LG phones including Nexus 4. I tried this example with Samsung Galaxy and it works - phone connects to nRF.

I'm sorry, but we don't have a LG G2. Have you tested the example with other phones? Can you try to sniff the link to see what is happening on the air? Please also attach your complete project so I can test it here.

I've set Connect to ALL in Master Control Panel and button "Connect" becomes visible even without adding Advertisement Flags in nRF but I still get GATT ERROR during connection

Yes, you need to change the flag or go to Settings->Connectivity and set Connect to to ALL in nRF Master Control Panel. Please try to restart the Bluetooth on the phone after making changes, it worked for me. If it doesn't help, could you try to sniff to see what is happening on the air?

Using PC version of Master Control Panel I can connect to nRF and read its Profile.

After adding Advertisement Flags: BLE_GAP_AD_TYPE_FLAGS to advertising data I see button "Connect", when I click it phone tries to connect to nRF but it ends with status: GATT ERROR

Yes, s130_demo_app. Just button "Connect" is not visible at all.

Do you mean the s130_demo_app? Could you please elaborate on what is actually happening? "can't connect" is very unspecific. Please edit the question to include the information.
