 We are running an application without BLE at this stage. We measure about 20ma at run time also by the datasheet max is 6ma.

&lt;li&gt;The Radio peripheral will not consume any current if its not enabled. The &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/ps_nrf52840/radio.html?cp=4_0_0_5_19_4#concept_rnf_nml_4r"&gt;radio will be disabled in its default state&lt;/a&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;What state is the nRF in when you measure the current? Are you using a custom board or the development kit? &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/sdk_nrf5_v16.0.0/pwr_mgmt_example.html?cp=6_1_4_6_21"&gt;The Power management example&lt;/a&gt; in the SDK shows how to use Power management library.&lt;/li&gt;
