Any antenna that support 2.4GHz and 50Ohm impedance should work.
I would suggest to follow the antenna made for the nRF51 development kits for your design.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You can also have a look at &lt;a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/eng/nordic/download_resource/20344/6/7314481"&gt;this document&lt;/a&gt; for monopole antenna design.
Also please don&amp;#39;t forget to add the tuning component to tune the antenna. &lt;p&gt;please check the nrf51 dongle Reference design, which uses the meander antenna. In your design place a pi-shunt before antenna for tuning.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There is no special antenna for johanson balun, actually any can do if tuned. We used the meander with johanson and st baluns as well (additional cap of 1pF / 1.5 pF was added)&lt;/p&gt;
