Testing now.

Update: Attempts to get the new v1.1 patch applied have failed (comment added on other support ticket). I will revert the v1.1 patch and attempt to try the change above with the older patch that was working on v1.1.

For MCUboot, add file nrf9160_pca20035.overlay file to the folder ncs\mcuboot\boot\zephyr

Did what work without FOTA modifications? My Project? Correct, my project compiles and runs perfectly fine without the FOTA related config added.

Yes, I run west west u frequently and I also ensured that the nrf52840_reset.c has the following line:

k_sleep(K_MSEC(10));
