I have a question about Bluetooth 5.1. I just want to know what the main difference is between a Bluetooth 5.0 and Bluetooth 5.1 chip.
Is it the hardware or software that enables the transmission of the CTE packets. I have tried looking at the Product

RE: Bluetooth 5.1

Depends on what you want to do. The only BT 5.1 feature that only the nRF52811 and nRF52833 supports is CTE for direction finding.
I have seen that the nRF52840 DK mentions in its product brief that it can support nRF52811. However the product brief does not specify that the nRF52840 DK has bluetooth 5.1 available.
