To use the nRF Connect for Desktop, you will need a separate DK or a Dongle for scanning. So you will need one DK with the Nordic_HTS app and one that is flashed with the connectivity firmware(promted when selecting the device in Bluetooth Low Energy app) for scanning with nRF Connect.

In the picture you just sent an additional device will pop up when you have connected to it, then you can go into settings and bond with the device.

If you have only have one DK, I would suggest you use the nRF Connect for mobile app. You should be able to bond in that app too.

Just to clarify: You are using another board to scan the device with the Nordic_HTC app? You have two DKs?

Can you send me screenshot of what you see when you have connected? Also a screenshot after you pushed the settings button?

Thanks. Yes I did connect it and see the device in the connection map. I saw the setting button, but didn't find the place to bond device. The DK is advertising and I can see it on my mobile, and I am able to connect the Nordic_HTC through nRF connect on my mobile. I just can't find the buttons in the nRF connect for desktop as the SDK document said, such as Pari, Perform Bonding.

Hi,

You need to find and connect to device first. After you have connected, in the connection map, another device should pop up. The setting button should be at the upper right corner(look like a gear). Can you see if your DK is advertising(LED1 should be blinking)? If it is advertising, can you see if you can find the DK with nRF Connect for mobile?

Can you give me more details on what you have done so far? A step-by-step procedure?
