We need to program nRF5x IC, so for that we are trying to program in the DK boards. For this we are using nRF52840 dk board and nRF51822 dk board (where nRF51822 IC is isolated from the interfacing MCU). We tried programming using the below connection

RE: HOW TO PROGRAM THE NRF51DK (only nRF IC) board using NRF52840 DK BOARD

Thanks

I have tried this method . this is working.

Sorry for late reply. we didn't power up the external board.

So we will try and let you know.

RE: HOW TO PROGRAM THE NRF51DK (only nRF IC) board using NRF52840 DK BOARD

Hi,

Is the nRF51 IC powered externally or from the nRF52840 DK? If it is powered externally, is it running at the same supply voltage level as the nRF52840 DK? The on-board J-Link on the DKs does not provide any level shifting features, meaning it will only be possible to program boards running at the same voltage level.

Best regards,
Jørgen
