 I am emulating the behaviour of a device doing this operations (Using pc-ble-driver-py 0.14.0 and nrf52840 dongle): 
 
 Is connected by a smartphone app 
 Exchanged data on a custom service with two custom characteristic:

&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m not sure what&amp;#39;s causing the different behaviors on the different phones, but as a start, I would suggest logging unhandled event IDs in your BLE callback. Unhandled events may cause service discovery to stop, and lead to disconnects.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
