I was not able to reproduce your error, I could successfully set a breakpoint (and break on it during a debug session) at&nbsp;<em>bsp_board_init()&nbsp;</em>in the peripheral/blinky example using nRF52840 DK and the Debug Configuration.&nbsp;</p> <p>What happens if you set the Optimization Level to Debug?
