 I downloaded the latest version of Segger Embedded Studio (v4.30c) and I can compile the project for both release and debug. &lt;p&gt;Does SES actually let you place a breakpoint in that line? In debugging mode (Debug &amp;gt; Go) you should see a small blue arrow to the left of the line if you are allow to place a breakpoint there. If not, you may need to change the debug level, try for instance to compile in debug mode and not in release.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If this doesn&amp;#39;t solve the problem please take some screenshots so it is easier for us to know what is happening.&lt;/p&gt;
