I want to implement a I2C on my thingy91.
As I am completely new to the world of nordic, I just had no idea where to start, but after reading a lot I thought I could use the i2c_scanner example from the nrf repository of nordic ( https://github

RE: Implement I2C on Thingy91

Sounds good. If you encounter any problems, which you can't find the answer to on DevZone, feel free to open a new ticket. If your question is not related to this one (I2C on Thingy:91/getting started) please open a new ticket, in order to keep everything more organized.

Good luck!

Best regards,

Thank you very much for your fast answer. I think I will have a look at the provided links first, to get a basic idea of how to program Nordic uCs.

Thanks a lot.

Best regards,

What are you using?

Check out these tutorials:

https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/nordic/cellular-iot-guides/b/getting-started-cellular/posts/nrf-connect-sdk-tutorial

https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/nordic/cellular-iot-guides/b/getting-started-cellular/posts/nrf-connect-sdk-tutorial---part-2

This part shows you how to use sensors with different interfaces (I2C, SPI etc..)

Also, check out Getting started and User guide in the NCS documentation.

You should also be aware that the newest chips (nRF91 and nRF53) use the nRF Connect SDK (NCS) and the older chips (nRF51 and nRF52) use the nRF5 SDK. You should concentrate on NCS. If you are using SES as IDE, remember to use the Nordic Edition, as that is the only one compatible with NCS.

Should I look into your problem with I2C, or do you want to look into the provided links first?

Best regards,
