No, I'm sorry, there is currently no generic sensor to gateway type of examples. One suggestion is to modify the Light Switch example, and create your own model to which the server-side will listen for and the client side will send. The current model in the light switch example sends a bool (in a byte) to the server, indicating on and off. You should be able to make a new model that sends a byte of data. However, be aware that mesh does not handle streaming data that well when sending "many to one", once a second or 5 seconds should be sufficient.
